You can change your Dart Express Net password simply by clicking personal under the options tab. Under modify login information, enter your current password, then enter your new password, and your new password again. Your password must consist of 8-24 alphanumeric characters.

Why is my account locked?
You are allowed three (3) invalid sign-on attempts before the system locks you out. If you are locked out, please call the bank at (517) 676-3661 or (800) 968-6818 (the toll free number is an automated service, press 0 to speak to an operator during normal business hours).

How can you ensure the security of my bank information?
Dart Bank follows strict standards to ensure the security of your banking information online. Some of these standards are listed below:

  • Your banking information never travels the Internet without encryption protection.
  • Your account numbers are never sent through the Internet, only the assigned pseudo-names (it does appear on statements or check images).
  • Login sessions have a 10-minute time-out limit requiring you to login again once the limit is reached.
  • Three incorrect login attempts will lock out the Internet banking account.

What can I do to protect my account and personal information while I’m banking through the Internet?
Memorize your Dart Express Net ID and Password. Your Dart Express Net user ID and password verify you when you begin an Internet banking session with Dart Bank.

  • Do NOT use the save password option on your computer.
  • Do NOT write down your ID and password or reveal it to anyone.
  • Change your password regularly. It’s important to periodically change your password.
  • Remember to sign-off when you are finished banking online.

You may not always be at your own computer when you bank online. Therefore, it’s important to Exit when you’re finished banking or leave the room for a few minutes while in an open banking session. For your protection, Dart Express Net automatically logs you off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

I created an alias for my Dart Express Net user ID, but can’t remember it. How do I get into the system?
Simply use the original Dart Express Net ID number that was assigned to you when you applied for your online banking account. If you cannot locate the original Dart Express Net ID number, you may call us at (517) 676-3661 or (800) 968-6818 (the toll free number is an automated service, press 0 to speak to an operator during normal business hours) and it will be securely communicated to you. Once you are logged on, you can create a new alias, in the options tab, under personal, in the modify login information section.

I’m having trouble signing in. What am I doing wrong?
More than likely you have forgotten your password or you entered an invalid password. You are allowed three (3) invalid sign-on attempts before the system locks you out. You will then need to call Dart Bank during normal business hours at (517) 676-3661 or (800) 968-6818 (the toll free number is an automated service, press 0 to speak to an operator during normal business hours) to have your user ID unlocked.

The system has stopped accepting my commands and the login screen appeared. What happened?
The system may have been idle for 10 minutes or longer. For security purposes, the system is set with a default feature for a 10-minute time-out. If the system is not used for 10 minutes, your session will become inactive and you will have to login again.

Can I download my account information to my financial management software?
Yes. You can download account information to Quicken,  or a spreadsheet program such as Excel or Lotus. The information may also be saved as text and exported to any word processing software. Refer to your Dart Express Net  User Manual for step-by-step instructions.

How late in the evening can I transfer between accounts?
The transfer cut-off time is 6:00 p.m. EST Monday – Friday, except bank-declared holidays. Transfers made before 6:00 p.m. EST Monday – Friday will post on the same business day. Transfers made after 6:00 p.m. EST will be posted on the following business day. Transfers made on weekends and bank-declared holidays will post the following business day.

What should I do if I receive an error message during a transfer?
Do not immediately “recreate” the transfer. Although you may not have received a confirmation number, the transfer may have posted. First, check the account the transfer was from, and then check the transactions in the account to which the funds were transferred. If no debits or credits appear on your accounts, then the transfer was not completed. You can then “re-enter” the transfer.

How current is the account information I access through Dart Express Net?
Transfers made on-line through Dart Express Net will appear as a memo post item on each account once a confirmation number is given by the system. Other transactions received by Dart Bank during the day, including electronic transactions, may be shown as a memo post. Memo post items will update the Available Balance, but will not affect the Current Balance, or the balance shown in the transaction history until after the bank’s nightly processing.
