Dart Bank Announces Three New Additions Across Wholesale Lending and Information Technology Divisions

Combined experience strengthens capital markets, lending operations, and IT.

MASON, Mich., April 8, 2026 – Dart Bank is pleased to announce the addition of three new team members: Brandon Bigelow as AVP/Infrastructure and Network Security Architect, Rob Hedley as Director of Capital Markets, and James Hoshield II as Wholesale Lending Purchase Review Manager – Non-Delegated Channel. They bring more than six decades of combined experience across markets, loan lifecycle management, risk oversight, and technology infrastructure.

Brandon Bigelow brings seven years of experience in the industry, including more than six years with ChoiceOne Bank, formerly The State Bank, where he progressed from Network Administrator to Assistant Vice President of Network Security. In those roles, he developed expertise in network infrastructure, security, and systems management. He also successfully implemented a network access controls solution and YubiKey-based authentication, enhancing access control and strengthening overall security.

Brandon started his career as an electrical engineer at Maxim Integrated. He later went on to work as a System Administrator for Rochester Community School District in Michigan and as a Service Desk Supervisor at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, building a strong foundation in technical support and IT operations.

In his new role, Brandon will design and safeguard the Bank’s network infrastructure by combining secure architecture, threat detection, and risk management to ensure the organization can operate safely and efficiently.

Rob Hedley joins Dart Bank with more than 25 years of experience in capital markets, trading and hedging, and secondary markets across financial institutions and mortgage operations. He brings deep industry expertise and a strong track record of building scalable platforms and high-performing teams.

Prior to joining Dart Bank, Rob served as Head of Capital Markets at Firstrust Bank and previously held leadership roles at TD Bank and George Mason Mortgage. Throughout his career, Rob has expanded investor networks, successfully onboarded more than 20 investors, and developed portfolio strategies supporting jumbo, CRA, and specialized lending programs. He has also led key operational initiatives, including loan origination system (LOS) and product and pricing engine (PPE) implementations.

In his new role, Rob will lead capital markets strategy and execution with a focus on improving operational efficiency and strengthening collaboration across the Bank.

James Hoshield II brings 30 years of experience in the banking industry, with a well-rounded background spanning the full lending lifecycle, including processing, underwriting, post-closing, production risk management, and secondary delivery.

In his previous role in Production Risk Management, James played a key role in reducing company repurchase exposure and successfully cleared 93% of investor repurchase requests in 2025. His hands-on experience from origination through final delivery positions him to effectively oversee loan quality and compliance.

In his new position, James will lead the loan review process for the non-delegated channel, overseeing the review of initial disclosures and closed loan packages to ensure compliance with investor, regulatory, and internal guidelines.
