Police warn of Social Security phone scam

DEWITT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX)- 

Dewitt Township Police are warning about a Social Security scam making the rounds.

Police say someone is calling, telling people that their Social Security benefits will be revoked. The caller is aggressive and persistent and will call back
numerous times.

Social Security representatives will not call you. Do not give out any personal information or money to these callers.

If you get one of these calls, contact the police department.
