Michael Unkovich has over 14 years of experience as a Mortgage Banker. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received a degree in Finance. After graduation, he dove into the world of financial banking and successfully built a reputation as a productive; efficient, customer service oriented mortgage banker. Michael has expanded his expertise in his field as a Senior Mortgage Banker for Dart Bank; a local institution with strong ties to the community in which they reside. Throughout his career, Michael has helped thousands of individuals, young professionals, growing families and empty nesters identify and select the most appropriate product that fits their financial needs, budget and goals.
Michael Unkovich is an active member of the Home Builders Association of Michigan, Professional Women in Building member and supporter along with serving as a member of the Women’s Counsel of Realtors. He also volunteers to educate those within his community by teaching MSHDA approved First Time Home Buyer Classes.
Born and raised in Northern Michigan, Michael worked, during his High School years, for his family’s business, Viking Marine, on Hubbard Lake. He was raised with the values of hard work, the importance of education and the significance of family as the most cherished and essential priorities in life.
Michael Unkovich takes tremendous pride in providing his clients with the information they need to make sound financial decisions—decisions that can last a lifetime. Michael is family man; his wife, Jodie, works for a local home building company and they have two young children, Sadie and Tucker.
