Dart Bank Welcomes Two New Board Members

John Truscott and John Gilkey Join the Board of Directors

Mason, MI- Dart Bank’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of John Truscott and John Gilkey to its Board of Directors.

Additional Board members include William J. Hufnagel (President & CEO), Eric Brogan (Chairman), Melanie Dart (Vice Chairman), Kira Carter-Robertson, Michelle Gallagher, John Grettenberger, Mark Henne, Peter Kubacki, and Blake Mulder.

John Truscott is one of Michigan’s most respected experts in communication. Prior to founding his public relations firm, John was the Director of Communications and Press Secretary for Michigan Governor John Engler. The merger of his company with The Rossman Group marked the inception of Truscott Rossman, which has become the largest and most trusted Michigan-owned public relations agency in the state. John serves as CEO of Truscott Rossman. John is also a communications industry thought leader, contributing his insights as a speaker at numerous conferences every year. Additionally, he serves on several boards including the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and Grand Rapids Economic Club. John is a graduate of Michigan State University.

John Gilkey serves as the President of BIGGBY COFFEE. Joining the company in 2018, John has led the development of the franchise system as it grew from 200 to over 400 stores in 2024. His focus is the transition of a founder-managed company to an enduring stakeholder oriented organization driven by its purpose of Supporting You in Building a Life you Love. His career is rooted in entrepreneurship and technology, having founded his first company in high school that grew into a series of businesses over the next 30 years. John’s approach involves assembling exceptional teams, integrating quality management principles, and fostering a human-centric culture of leadership.
