Tom McLinden, originally from Royal Oak Michigan, attended Michigan State University where he received a BS in Economics in 1977. Following graduation, Tom gained experience in mortgage and consumer lending while employed at The Saline Bank and Huron Valley National Bank. Also, during this period, Tom received formal commercial credit training and acted as a commercial loan officer based in Ann Arbor.

In 1987, Tom became the Senior Lending Officer for Republic Bank, Ann Arbor and in 1989 he was elected President and CEO. In 1993, he was elected President and CEO for the Southeast Region and Statewide Director of Mortgage Operations for Republic Bank.

In April 1994, Tom McLinden resigned from his positions with Republic Bancorp to pursue the establishment of Money Source Financial Services. Tom is a Registered Representative through Berthel Fisher and Company, member FINRA/SIPC. Tom has previously served as a Board Member of the Washtenaw Alzheimer’s Association and past President for Washtenaw Council for Children.
