David Kuiper started in mortgage banking in 1990. He graduated from Hope College in 1988 majoring in pre-med biology and business administration. He also holds an MBA in finance from Grand Valley State University and is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, the highest designation available in the mortgage industry. David has consistently been rated as one of the top mortgage loan officers in the country by Mortgage Originator Magazine, Scotsman Guide, Origination News and Mortgage Executive Magazine. He has closed over 7000 loans totaling in excess of $1.25 billion at this point in his career, in a small Midwest market. In addition to managing a busy mortgage practice, David is a nationally recognized author, speaker and trainer for the mortgage industry. David writes regularly for several industry publications and is on the teaching faculty of Mortgage Market Guide and Loan Toolbox.
Outside of work David Kuiper enjoys traveling, collecting seashells, scuba diving, perennial gardening, and working on various art projects. David currently lives in West Michigan along with his wife Michelle, 5 children, 2 sons-in-law, 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 cats, and 2 dogs.
