David Kuiper started in mortgage banking in 1990. He graduated from Hope College in 1988, majoring in pre-med biology and business administration. Additionally, he holds an MBA in finance from Grand Valley State University and is a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, the highest designation available in the mortgage industry. Publications such as Mortgage Originator Magazine, Scotsman Guide, Origination News, and Mortgage Executive Magazine have rated David Kuiper as one of the top mortgage loan officers. While in a small Midwest market, he has closed over 7000 loans, totaling over $1.25 billion throughout his career. Moreover, David is a nationally recognized author, speaker, and trainer in the mortgage industry. Likewise, David writes regularly for several industry publications and is on the teaching faculty for Mortgage Market Guide and Loan Toolbox.
Even with a packed schedule, he consistently finds time to engage in activities he loves. Further, outside of work, David Kuiper enjoys traveling, collecting seashells, scuba diving, perennial gardening, and working on various art projects. David resides in West Michigan with his wife Michelle, five children, two sons-in-law, three granddaughters, one grandson, two cats, and two dogs.
