Dart Bank has been invested in our communities, its people and its businesses since 1925. Dart Bank was founded by Rollin Charles Dart (“R. C.”) and his son, Doc Campbell Dart in 1925. Doc Campbell’s innovation and creativity paved the way for our success, even during the toughest times in America’s history. As the years progressed we opened a second location in Delhi Township in 1974, and most recently our Grand Ledge Office. Dart Bank has been located in three communities surrounding the metropolitan area of Lansing, Michigan for 96 years.
As a result of the continued growth, our Board recommended the formation of a bank holding company to be named Dart Financial Corporation ( DFC ) . On July 2, 2008, The Dart Bank became the sole subsidiary of the holding company and shares of DFC were exchanged for those of The Dart Bank.
Dart Financial Corporation ( DFC ) is headquartered in Mason, Michigan. Dart Bank is a community bank whose primary purposes are to meet the financial needs of our banking communities, protect and increase the value of stockholders’ investments and serve the community in financial and non-financial ways.
