Monica Michael joined Dart Bank in 2022 and brings over 20 years of commercial banking experience. She began her career in 2001 at a community bank and later spent 11 years at a credit union. Throughout her career, Monica has held a variety of commercial banking roles, including commercial lender, credit analyst, and loan documentation and compliance specialist – giving her a well-rounded perspective on helping businesses succeed.
Monica is a graduate of the Perry School of Banking and has completed the CUES School of Business Lending & Advanced School of Business Lending. She has also participated in Leadership Lansing. Monica’s dedication and commitment to client success earned her recognition as one of the bank’s top performers in 2023 and 2024. In addition, she played a key role in Dart Bank being named the 2025 Michigan Certified Development Corporation (MCDC) Lender of the Year. She is passionate about building long-term relationships and delivering customized financial solutions tailored to her clients’ needs.
Outside of the bank, Monica enjoys spending time with her husband and children, including taking vacations up north and to the Florida Gulf Coast. She is a Rotarian and values giving back through community involvement.
